A rapidly growing swimming school, iSwim, is seeking a new swimming supervisor/instructor to join our team in Dublin.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced swimming supervisor/instructor responsible for overseeing swimming lessons, training instructors, and conducting classes for children, teenagers, and adults. The person in this role will be a key member of our team, ensuring high-quality lessons and participant safety.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising swimming lessons conducted by instructors.
• Training and supporting swimming instructors in teaching methods and safety.
• Monitoring and assessing the quality of lessons.
• Managing class schedules and instructor timetables.
• Conducting swimming lessons in English.
• Teaching swimming to children aged 4 and above, teenagers, and adults.
• Maintaining accurate programme documentation and updating records on student progress
• Taking care of assigned equipment.
• Enforcing safety rules among participants.
• Providing both theoretical and practical knowledge to participants.
• Adhering to the pool’s regulations.
• Flexibility to work occasionally outside regular hours.

Requirements:

• Certified swimming instructor or second-class swimming coach.
• At least one year of experience as a swimming instructor.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• Ability to swim in 4 styles, including turns.
• Strong interpersonal skills with clients (especially with children).
• Responsible work approach.
